Conference Fee Waivers for Students
To support students with limited access to funding
opportunities, ICEP 2025 is excited to be able to offer SIX (6) fee
waivers – worth up to €500 each.
Six student attendees will be supported by funds
from ICEP and IAAP Division 4 (ICEP Studentship Funds) and
this is open to applicants from any area of environmental psychology.
The seventh award is part of the Vienna-Delcroix Prize in
Oceans, Health and Well-Being and will be awarded to a student
researching in the area of marine and ocean psychology.*
Key criteria
1. Acceptance of talk or
poster at the ICEP 2025
2. Research excellence and innovation
3. GDP per capita ranking of the country where
the student is registered (priority will be given to lower-ranking countries)
Decisions on the six ICEP fee waivers will be made by members
of the Conference Steering Committee. Decisions on the Vienna-Delcroix
scholarship will be made by Mathew White.
Applications for all awards should contain:
• Proof of PhD student enrolment;
• An extended 500 word abstract of the work to be presented;
• And a 2 page CV.

The award winners will be notified by 1 March (two weeks
before the early bird deadline for conference registration). Decisions of the
committee will be final. Funds not awarded in 2025 will be carried over to ICEP
2027.
ICEP 2025 Vienna-Delcroix
Scholarship (€1,000)
Using funds from the Delcroix Prize in Oceans & Human Health, the research
team in the Environmental Psychology Group at the University of Vienna invite
applications for a €1,000 scholarship from Students and Early Career
Researchers in the emerging field of Marine Psychology to be used to present
their work at the ICEP 2025 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Applications are welcome
from all areas of Marine Psychology including, but not limited to,
psychologically related aspects of tackling marine pollution, protecting marine
species, and promoting psychological health through marine activities etc.
Applications from students/ECRs in Low and Middle Income Countries are
especially welcome. The scholarship is intended to cover conference fees as
well as (the majority of) travel and accommodation. Applicants should send an
extended abstract of 500 words describing the work in Marine Psychology they
wish to present at ICEP 2025 highlighting their specific role, and a short
2-page CV to Mathew White (mathew.white@univie.ac.at).
